Privacy

What Dierum collects, in plain terms.

Site analytics

Two systems. First-party counters record page views and tool usage by traffic source with no cookies and no identifiers, and honor Do-Not-Track. Google Analytics runs only if you accept analytics cookies in the consent bar; declining keeps it in cookieless mode. Change your choice any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Accounts and API keys

Signing up stores your email and a hash of your key. Keys themselves are shown once and never stored. Sign-in codes and session tokens are stored hashed and expire. Usage counts are kept per key per day for rate limiting and your own dashboard.

Payments

Checkout and card handling happen on Stripe's servers. Card numbers never reach ours. We keep the Stripe customer reference and plan status.

API requests

Standard server logs (IP, path, status) are kept briefly for abuse prevention and debugging. Request parameters are not warehoused for analysis.

Widgets on other sites

Embedded widgets fetch calendar data and store nothing about the pages they run on. They cache responses in the visitor's own browser to reduce requests.

Processors we rely on

Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Hetzner (hosting, EU), Google Analytics (only with your consent), Google Ads (click attribution via URL parameters). Each receives only what its function requires.

Retention

Account records persist while the account exists. Sign-in codes expire in 10 minutes; sessions in 30 days; server logs are rotated within weeks. Revoked keys remain as hashes for audit continuity. Ask and we will delete account data that no legal or billing obligation requires us to keep.

Your choices and rights

Analytics cookies are opt-in and reversible via "Cookie settings" in the footer. You may request a copy or deletion of your account data. EU/UK visitors: the practices above are designed so routine browsing involves no personal-data processing beyond what is strictly necessary.
